Here’s your clue: A holiday season social for Gen Z and Millennials, grab a cider and show off your best bird trivia. 

What is Holiday Taproom Games with Thirty, Birdy & Thriving? 

Adults aged 20-40ish are invited to the Bird Alliance of Central Indiana’s equivalent of the hipster cocktail party. The highlight of the evening: ornithological trivia. 

A little about our host: still birdy and thriving Wes Homoya is on the BACI Bird Safe Indy and Birdathon Grant Committees, a professional bird guide, and loves to bring his Jeopbirdy game to birding festivals and programs all over the country. Also an ambassador for Ash & Elm Cider, see if he can stump any of you Thirty, Birdy peeps on November 18 from 6:30-8:30pm at the Carmel location. 

LOCATION: The Carmel taproom is located at 525 N End Dr, Ste 190, Carmel, IN 46032. We’ll be at the bar area in the back of the building. Guests will be seated at the bar and tables around it. Anyone under 21 is welcome; they will just be seated at the tables instead of the bar. 

PREPARATION & ACCESS CONSIDERATIONS: This event will take place indoors in a somewhat noisy/busy environment. There is seating as well as standing space at the bar, though the space will be trafficked, we can make accommodations for wheelchairs, etc. at tables. Players will be divided into teams, so be ready for communication, and being part of a large group.  

Food and drink will be available for purchase, though not required, so please let us know if you have any airborne food allergies. Limited non-alcoholic options are available. Also: please remember to drink responsibly, respect each other’s boundaries, and have a plan for a ride home! 

DRESS CODE: Okay, this part isn’t mandatory. But if you’re ever so inclined, please wear your best bird and/or holiday sweater attire  😉 

REGISTRATION: This event is FREE, though we’d love if you made a drink or food purchase to support Ash & Elm! The event is open to 30 participants. Preregistration is required with early registration for BACI members until November 7; you can now sign up online.
